ENGL 155 - Poetry Writing for Beginners An exploration of the practice of writing poetry. No prior experience in poetry writing is assumed. Investigates a variety of approaches to the composition of a poem and such elements of poetry as image, rhythm, line, sound, pattern, and structure. This course does not count toward the English major with a creative writing emphasis.
