BUS 361 - Operations Management This course examines the management of the conversion process – converting raw materials, land, labor, capital, and management inputs into desired outputs of goods and services. This will include the study of traditional approaches as well as new contributions from just-in-time practices, constraint theory, total quality management, and statistical process control. The analysis of operational decisions will include strategic, productivity, and ethical considerations.
Credits: 3 Terms Offered: Fall, Spring Prerequisites: BUS 222 and BUS 223 with a grade of C or better, ACCT 221 with a grade of C or better, ECON 212 with a grade of C or better, MATH 115 or equivalent
